The Monday Painters are a group of artists who regularly paint en plein air, working directly from the places around them. This exhibition brings together work by 18 participating artists, with paintings inspired by local landscapes in Burlington and Bronte, Dundas, and Hamilton.

Bruce Trail Inspired 3

Five artists come together for the third Bruce Trail Inspired exhibition, celebrating the beauty, diversity, and significance of the Bruce Trail through art.

Featuring paintings by Anne More, Victoria Pearce, Cathy Lorraway, Janet Jardine, and Robert Peachey, the exhibition is inspired by the landscapes, experiences, and connections found along the Trail.

Supporting the Bruce Trail Conservancy

Thirty percent of proceeds from exhibition artwork will support the Bruce Trail Conservancy and their efforts to protect the Niagara Escarpment.

Ontario Society of Artists' 2019 Emerging Artist Exhibition

I am very excited and honoured to have been juried into the Ontario Society of Artist’s 2019 Emerging Artist Exhibition. The piece they accepted is the image featured here, titled Western Brook Gorge, Winter View (Nice Day for a White Wedding).

The biennial show will be held January 11–31, 2020 at the Queen Elizabeth Cultural Centre in Oakville, Ontario. Please free to visit at anytime during the exhibition, or come out for the opening reception.

The official OPENING RECEPTION is on Thursday, January 16th from 6 to 8pm. I will be there along with other artists accepted into this show, and some prizes will also be awarded that evening. Come and ask me about the story behind the painting.
